RAMexam Installation Instructions The Complete RAM Tester! RAMexam is the only dedicated memory testing utility available.

The procedure for installing RAMexam is as follows:

1. Download the RE-nn.EXE file from our site into its own subdirectory.
2. Run RE-nn.EXE with the Unlock Code (sent to you via e-mail), thus producing a file called RE-nn.ZIP.
3. Unzip RE-nn.ZIP using any of the many popular ZIP programs (PKUNZIP, WinZIP, NetZIP, etc.) into the same subdirectory. You can download PKUNZIP from our site.
4. That directory should then contain the following files:

   MAKEBOOT.EXE
   QLOGO.OVL
   RAMEXAM.DOC
   RAMEXAM.EXE
   RE-nn.EXE
   RE-nn.ZIP
   RSETUP.EXE
   RSETUP.HLP

5. Run RSETUP.EXE
6. Enter your Name and Serial Number (sent to you in the same e-mail in which you received the unlock code).
7. Follow the instructions displayed by RSETUP.EXE.

The product is now successfully installed. To use it, run RAMEXAM.EXE outside Windows.

Note that because RAMexam requires uncontested access to all of the extended memory in your system, it cannot run while Windows is active. Using the MAKEBOOT.EXE program, you can create a separate boot disk in order to run RAMexam.
