Qualitas Company Profile

BACKGROUND

Founded in 1983, Qualitas develops, markets, and supports high performance enhancement utilities for Windows and DOS operating environments running on IBM-compatible microcomputers. Qualitas has a commitment to be on the cutting edge of technical development while providing reliable and industry compatible products.

PRODUCTS

Qualitas C.Y.A. (Cover Your Applications) is the easiest way to recover from Windows crashes. This utility for Windows 95, NT and 3.1x automatically backs up system and Windows files needed for Windows to run properly and lets you view and restore changes in one simple step.

Qualitas Q.E.D. (Qualitas Enhanced Display) is a Windows and Windows 95 utility that automatically increases the size of Windows common dialogs to take advantage of high resolution displays. Q.E.D. also includes a powerful Dialog Editor to customize all Windows dialogs to any size or layout.

Qualitas MAX 8 combines updated features from 386MAX and BlueMAX with Windows 95 support and new Go Ahead technology to provide a complete memory and Windows resource manager--all in one product! Qualitas MAX 8 enhances system performance and increases available conventional memory by relocating resident software into previously unused high DOS areas. The product also provide application support for a broad range of industry memory management specifications including XMS, EMS, VCPI and DPMI. No other memory management solution for Windows 95, Windows 3.1x and DOS improves system performance as easily and safely.

RAMexam is an enhanced, stand-alone version of the Qualitas Memory Tester (QMT) for 386, 486 and Pentium CPU-based systems. While RAMexam is a DOS-based utility, Windows users will find it especially valuable as a "pretreatment" for running the Windows environment. Unlike parity testing which only catches a certain class of errors half the time, RAMexam employs a consistent fault model based on the multiple known ways in which memory fails. RAMexam installs automatically and can be configured to test system memory on a daily, weekly, monthly or user-defined frequency.
